Women’s Golf Finishes Ninth at ACC Championships

Greensboro, N.C. – Clemson women’s golf finished the final round of stroke play at ACC  Championships on Wednesday, carding a +10 (298) as a team. Stanford, Florida State, Virginia, Wake Forest, North Carolina and California advanced to the match play portion of the tournament.

Individually, Chloe Holder turned in the best round of the day for the Tigers with an even-par 72. Holder recovered from a bogey on her first hole of the day to shoot -1 on the first nine holes. Sydney Roberts finished the day at +1, followed by Aitana Tuesta who shot +4 on the day. Isabella Rawl made the Tigers’ only eagle of the day on No. 18, but finished at +5 along with Melena Barrientos.

Tuesta was the Tigers’ highest individual finisher at T34, followed by Rawl and Holder at T38 in Holder’s last collegiate tournament. Roberts finished T47 and Barrientos finished T55 in her final tournament as a Tiger.
