Clemson, S.C. — Clemson women’s golf opens play in the 2023 NCAA Pullman regional on Monday morning. The Tigers, the 4 seed, tee off starting at 8:00 a.m. local time (11 a.m. eastern) and are paired with Kentucky and Texas Tech.
Clemson has three starters with NCAA Tournament experience. Senior Savannah Grewal, playing in the No. 1 spot, and junior Annabelle Pancake (No. 2) have each played in two regionals previously and sophomore Melena Barrientos (No. 4) has played in one. Chloe Holder (No. 3) and Isabella Rawl (No. 5) will be playing in their first NCAA Tournament.
This is Clemson’s eighth selection to the NCAA Women’s Golf Tournament in nine possible opportunities. The team missed the 2015 tournament and the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020 tournament.
The top five teams after 54 holes of stroke play will advance to the National Championship Tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona, May 19-24.
