WOMEN’S GOLF ADDS AUGUSTA TRANSFER

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf has announced the addition of Chloe Holder, a transfer from Augusta University, to its 2022 class.

Holder joins a signing class that includes local products Sydney Roberts (Chesnee, S.C.) and Isabella Rawl (Lexington, S.C.).

“Chloe will be a great addition to our team,” said head coach Kelley Hester. “She is a local girl who knows all about Clemson and our traditions here. As a freshman at Augusta, she won a big individual title at the Mercedes-Benz in Knoxville and helped lead her team to a Conference Championship and NCAA Regionals. She has a great deal of experience and I look for her to come in and have a chance to be a real difference-maker for us.”

Holder, a native of nearby Anderson, SC, had a strong freshman year at Augusta, where she had three top-five finishes and six top 20s in her 11 tournaments. She won the first tournament of her career at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate in Knoxville, Tenn. and finished third at Southland Conference Championship.
