“I am very pleased with the effort of our basketball team,” said Clemson Head Coach Jim Davis. It is always good to come from behind in the second half and win. We did a better job taking care of the basketball in the second half. The tempo of the game was in our favor. We play a lot of players and I was pleased with the way we ran them down. Erin did a great job with her great post defense. Nuria played one of her best defensive games. I am very proud of our team–with the desire and with the way we played. Erin is a veteran player and with her steal and layup right before the half, we built on this momentum at the start of the second half.”
