Women’s Basketball to Face Auburn Friday

The Clemson women’s basketball team will play Auburn at the Russell Athletic Shootout at the Philips Arena in Atlanta GA on Friday, December 27, at 12:30 p.m. Clemson is now 7-2 on the year and have won four games in a row. Most recently, the Lady Tigers won the Sun Splash Shootout in Nassau Bahamas last weekend. Auburn will take a 10-0 record into the Clemson game.

Clemson is led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd. She is averaging 17.1 ppg. Freshman center Amanda White leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with an 8.6 rpg. mark. Auburn is led in scoring by Natasha Brackett with a 13.5 ppg. average. Mandisa Stevenson leads Auburn in rebounding with a 6.6 rpg. mark.

This will be the seventh meeting between the two schools on the basketball court. The series is tied 3-3. The game will be televised over the ACC Network (Comcast Sports Net, Fox Sports Net South, and Sunshine Networks).
