CLEMSON, S.C. – The Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced Wednesday the national rankings for Team GPAs for the 2023-24 academic year. Clemson tops the ACC and had over 50 percent of its student-athletes with over a 3.5 GPA during the competition year.
“It is truly incredible to see the hard work and dedication that our student-athletes have both in the gym and the classroom,” Head Coach Amy Smith said. “At Clemson, we strive for our athletes to succeed in every aspect of their college careers, starting in the classroom. Our athletes can balance training with their studies and have proven they can achieve their goals.”
In addition to this honor, the team earned a 3.67 in the Fall and a 3.50 in the spring. The 3.67 was the third-highest GPA recorded in Clemson Athletics history and the highest in the team’s history.
