CLEMSON, S.C.The Clemson Women’s Basketball team (12-13, 5-9 ACC) will take on the Southern Methodist University Mustangs (10-15, 2-11 ACC) in an ACC road matchup. 

The game will take place in Moody Coliseum and will be broadcast on ACCN with Alex Loeb and Andrea Lloyd on the call. The audio broadcast will stream via the ClemsonTigers App with Tony Ciuffo and Faxon Childress on the broadcast. While Clemson and SMU have never met, the Tigers have played two games in Moody Coliseum in 2012 as part of the Hoops for a Cure Classic. 

On Thursday, Clemson defeated No. 19 Georgia Tech 68-61 in the Tigers’ second ranked win of the season. Tessa Miller notched a season high of 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Maddi Cluse tallied her fourth consecutive game scoring in double-figures, knocking down four threes. She is now 12-18 from the arc in the past four games. 

Loyal McQueen leads the Tigers in scoring, with 13.0 points per game. She also has 122 assists so far this season. The Tigers are also averaging 7.5 made threes per game, which is on track to break the program record and their 188 made three-pointers on the season is the fourth-most makes in a single season in school history. Five Tigers are shooting above 36% from three: Hannah Kohn, Mia Moore, Tessa Miller, Loyal McQueen and Maddi Cluse.
