CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Women’s Basketball team (11-13, 4-9) is hosting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (20-4, 8-4) in the annual Hoopin’ for Hope Pink Out game for breast cancer awareness at 7 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. Tickets to the event are Buy One, Get One Free.Â
The game will be broadcast on ACCNX with Fred Cunningham and Jim Davis on the call. It can also be heard on the Clemson Athletic Network with Tony Ciuffo and Faxon Childress on the broadcast.Â
A pregame survivor reception will take place in the Coliseum Club at 5:30 p.m., in which local cancer survivors and their loved ones will attend. Doors to the general public will open at 6 p.m. The first 350 fans will receive a pink “Hoopin’ for Hope” beanie hat, and there will be Play4Kay marquee letters in the concourse.Â
Clemson women’s basketball has seen a 99% increase in attendance from last season, averaging 2,372 fans per game.Â
Loyal McQueen leads the Tigers in scoring, averaging 13.2 points per game and 4.8 assists per game. The Tigers are also averaging 7.5 made threes per game, which is on track to break the season record in program history. Five Tigers are shooting above 36% from three: Hannah Kohn, Mia Moore, Tessa Miller, Loyal McQueen and Maddi Cluse.Â
