Job Description

Responsibilities during this internship will include but are not limited to assisting staff with the development and implementation of training programs for both men’s and women’s basketball teams; demonstrating and teaching proper strength training, running and plyometrics; maintaining the upkeep of facilities; participation in an academic internship curriculum; assistance in sport science testing/technology and data analysis. Interns will gain valuable experience collaborating with strength & conditioning, sports medicine, and performance nutrition as well as experience the daily operations of a D1 setting, while working with the basketball Sport Performance Department at Clemson University.

Start/End Dates:

  • Year long program: August-July
  • Semester long: Fall & Spring Semesters

Typical Hours

  •  50-60hrs/week

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in Exercise Science or related field; certified in CPR/AED/First Aid; strong desire to become Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach; pursuing CSCCa-SCCC or NSCA-CSCS certification
