Volleyball Falls to FSU 3-1

Tallahassee, Fla. – Clemson fell to Florida State in ACC volleyball action by scores of 9-15, 5-15, 15-11, and 11-15 on Sunday afternoon in Tallahassee, FL.

Florida State improved to 19-7 and 9-3, while the Tigers fell to 16-8 and 7-5 in the ACC.

Junior middle hitter Cindy Stern paced Clemson in the losing effort with 18 kills and a hitting percentage of .326. Senior Stephanie Schulz added 16 kills, while freshman Jodi Steffes recorded 14 digs for the Tigers.

Clemson’s next match will be this Friday beginning at 7 p.m. when the Tigers host ACC foe Maryland at Jervey Gym.
