Attached to and complementing the administrative-coaching personnel building is a two-level, multi-purpose structure of 29,000 square feet. This 1,500 seat arena serves as home for the Clemson’s Volleyball team. The upper level, which is connected to the Watt Family Performance & Wellness Center was completed in 2025, houses Jervey Gym. The lower level of the gymnasium houses the athletic equipment room.
Originally built in 1973, Jervey underwent its first set of upgrades in 1995 and most recently was updated following the conclusion of the 2023 volleyball home schedule. The renovations following the 2023 season included raising the previous roof by over 12 feet to exceed NCAA minimum heights as well as replacing the flooring, bleacher seating, audio, lighting, scoreboard and video board to enhance the in-game fan experience. The renovation reallocated over 14,000 square feet of space that includes an upgraded team locker room and lounge space directly adjacent to the court.
The program’s upgraded locker room includes a complete lounge space – including kitchenette, a braid bar that houses wall-length mirror and chairs, massage chairs, upgraded locker space with bluetooth speakers, complete team film room, additional student-athlete amenities and a hype tunnel leading onto the court.
The hub of the volleyball program is centrally located to many of their most commonly used performance spaces, including the newest Watt Family Performance & Wellness Center that houses sports medicine, strength and conditioning, nutrition and applied science departments. This building offers a new gym access for fans on match days, restrooms and concessions areas. A premium seating option resides on the south side of the gym on the second level known as the ACEs Club Lounge. ACEs Club Members at the highest giving tiers will be given the first opportunity to experience the ACEs Club Lounge in 2025. Attached to Jervey Gym is the Jervey Athletic Center – named in honor of one of Clemson’s most beloved sons, Frank Jervey. Jervey is a two-level complex. The main entrance opens into a spacious lobby-reception area where trophy display cases and other memorabilia of Clemson athletics are displayed for both the volleyball and track programs.
The 67,000 square foot building houses offices for the volleyball coaching staff, as well as both the cross country/track and field programs. These offices are centrally located on the main level. Also on the main level directly off of Perimeter Road is the on-campus home to the ACCN studios. Besides the coaching staffs, the 50-plus offices on the main level are used by personnel in Clemson Athletics and Ventures.
Also on this level are three squad rooms, three conference rooms, a central mailing room, film storage and staff lounge area. Beneath the main floor are located dressing rooms for numerous varsity sports. Other facilities on this level include coaches’ dressing rooms and visiting team locker rooms.
