CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson defensive players Robert Carswell have both been named preseason All-Americans by collegefootballnews.com. Adams was named to the first team, while Carswell was named to the second team.
Adams led the nation in tackles (186) and tackles for loss (35) last year and was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year. He was a first-team All-ACC choice and a second-team Associated Press All-American. Carswell ranked third on the Clemson team in tackles with 129, the highest total ever by a Clemson defensive back. He led the ACC in interceptions with six, the 10th highest total in the nation.
