Clemson, S.C. — Clemson gymnastics has hired Tommy Tsimbinos as the Director of Gymnastics Operations, it was announced today by Head Coach Amy Smith.
Tsimbinos is an accomplished graduate student experienced in baseball operations, with a strong background in both academic and athletic leadership. After completing his undergraduate studies here at Clemson, he chose to pursue his master’s in athletic leadership and is expected to graduate in Spring of 2026.
With extensive leadership experience in Baseball, he served as operations manager for the Clemson team from 2019 to 2023. Tsimbinos worked directly with the Chief of Staff to manage the logistics of daily administrative duties, plan team travels, manage team budgets, and perform other duties assisted by the coaching staff.
Tommy continued his love for baseball and operations this past summer, where he organized daily logistics of the USA tour, assisted the multi-thousand-dollar NIL opportunity for collegiate players, and was responsible for managing compliance work for coaches and supporting staff.
Combining both academic excellence and commitment to operations, we look forward to having Tommy join our gymnastics family and expand his love for Clemson.
