Krebs competed for Clemson in 1983, and from 1985-1987. She was also a member of the cross country team from 1982-1985. Krebs was a three-time NCAA Champion, and an eight-time All-American, Clemson records in both categories. She placed fifth at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in 1984, and finished seventh in 1983. She won her first NCAA career title in the 1000 yard run in 1983, recording a time of 2:28.58. Outdoor, she was the NCAA Runner-up in the 800m (2:03.01) that same year. Krebs won the 1500m run at the 1985 NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 4:17.45, and placed fourth in the 1500m outdoor (4:15.74). In 1986, she was the NCAA Indoor Champion in the mile with a time of 4:40.82, and finished third in the 1500m outdoor. indoor, Krebs still holds the Clemson all-time record in the mile run (4:38.40), and ranks second in the 800m with a time of 2:06.09. Outdoor, Krebs holds two Clemson record. She is the Lady Tigers’ all-time leader in the 800m (2:02.07), and holds the record in the 1500m with a time of 4:15.23. She was a four-time ACC Champion Outdoor, winning the 800m every year.
