CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team is set to compete at the ITA Regionals in Cary, N.C., hosted by Duke University on Oct. 21-25. Ryuhei Azuma, Jorge Plans Gonzalez, Ethan Silva, Maxwell Smith, Matt Pitts, Trey Stinchcomb and Spencer Whitaker will make a run in the tournament for the Tigers.
Whitaker and Azuma will look to continue their doubles success as the duo went 13-8 last season. Plans Gonzalez and Smith will compete as a pair while freshman Silva and M. Pitts will take the court together. Stinchcomb and Plans Gonzalez will begin singles action for the Tigers at 9 a.m. and M. Pitts will close out the day at noon.
