Tigers to Compete in ITA Carolina Regional

Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team heads off to the ITA Carolinas Regional this weekend in Durham, N.C. Five Tigers are set to compete on the campus of Duke University including Teodor Giusca, Carlos Kelaidis, Gabriel Diaz Freire and Mike Agee. Jaxon Wiley will also make the trip but not compete in the tournament. In addition, Diaz Freire earned a 17-24 seed in the tournament.

The regional tournament features a field of 128 singles competitors and 64 doubles teams from 25 institutions. Six 2019 NCAA Tournament will be in attendance this weekend as competitors from NC State, UNC, Elon, Wake Forest and South Carolina will take the court.

Singles play begins on Friday at 9:30 am while doubles action begins on Saturday at 8:30 am. Doubles draws will be released tomorrow afternoon.
