Mesa, Ariz. – Clemson women’s golf sits in a tie for second place after the first round of the 2022 Clover Cup, hosted by Notre Dame. As a team, the Tigers shot -2 (286) to finish the round tied with No. 17 LSU and behind No. 31 TCU (-4, 284).

Individually, Katherine Schuster and Callista Rice both finished at -1 (71), good for T-12. Schuster turned in the best nine-hole score of the day, shooting a -2 on the back nine with four birdies. Rice turned in the lowest single-hole score of the day, with an eagle on the par-5 15. Annabelle Pancake and Melena Barrientos each finished the day at even (72), good for T-18. Barrientos birdied three holes in a row on the back nine, while Pancake shot a -1 on the front.

Savannah Grewal finished the day at +5, while Gracyn Burgess, playing as an individual, finished at +7.
