Cabo San Lucas, Mexico – Chloe Holder finished tied for 15th to lead Clemson in the first round of the Battle at the Beach, held at at Club Campestre San Jose in San Jose del Cabo, BCS, Mexico.
Clemson finished +12 for round one, with Annabelle Pancake tied for 25th at +2. Melena Barrientos and Savannah Grewal are both at +5 after the first round, while Isabella Rawl is at +7 in her first collegiate tournament.
As an individual, Kat Schuster also finished at +7.
Ole Miss leads the field at -2 and the only team under par. Vanderbilt is the only team at even, while LSU, TCU, and Houston round out the top five.
Saturday’s second round starts with an 8:00 a.m. (10:00 eastern) shotgun start. The Tigers are paired with Kansas State, Wisconsin, and Kansas as they look to gain ground on the leaders.
