Tigers Sign Pair of Sprinters

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson women’s track and field program has signed two sprinters, La’Nica Locker and Aja Davis. The pair will look to make immediate contributions to Marvin Gibson’s sprints squad.

Locker hails from Antigua and Barbuda and recently ran a 23.40 in the 200 meter dash. That time was the world leading mark Girls Under 18 200 meter category. She is also ranked number three in the world in the Girls under 18 100m with a time of 11.78sec. She recently won the Antigua and Barbuda National Championship in the 200 meter and will be representing her country at the Junior Commonwealth Games in Trinbago later this summer.

Davis hails from Philadelphia, Pa. and attended Lower Merion High School. She holds 11.58 and 24.08 personal bests and the 100 and 200 meter, respectively. She joins the Tigers from Delaware, where she won the 2023 CAA indoor 60 meter dash with a personal best time of 7.45.
