CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson track and field program has signed Nate Rayan to its recruiting class, the team announced on Thursday. Rayan is currently the No. 1 ranked high school hurdler in the nation.
Hurdles coach Lennox Graham adds to his impressive group after Giano Roberts just claimed the National Championship in the 60 meter hurdles. Roberts was Clemson’s first National Champion in the men’s 60 meter hurdles.
Rayan hails from New Jersey and attends Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. His 7.14 55 meter hurdles personal best is the fastest time in the nation this season and is third fastest in history for New Jersey high schoolers.
