Cristina Mayorova won her Sunday match from the No. 1 position against UNC’s Carson Tanguilig in come-back fashion, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7). Mayorova also won on Saturday, 6-2, 6-4.

Samantha Buyckx also went 3-0 on the trip, and Makayla Mills and Ali DeSpain won two of their matches as well.

“I was very proud of the girls’ effort this weekend. All of the matches were tough and we had to dig deep in a number of the matches which was great” said Lynch. “Cristina had a great win today against a strong opponent and played very well to win. Daniella was undefeated in singles at the No. 2 position this weekend and competed extremely well.”
