Tigers Place Second at Dale England Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Tigers battled in the Dale England Cup on Saturday morning in Bloomington, Ind., defeating ACC foe Notre Dame and Michigan State in three of the five races on the day. Clemson’s performance was good for a second-place finish behind host and No. 18 Indiana. The Tigers competed well, placing second in the V8+, 2V8+ and 3V8+, third in the V4+ and fourth in the 2V4+.

“This was our first time attending this event, and while we didn’t have the exact individual boat results that we wanted, we managed to earn a second-place team finish,” says Head Coach Stephen Frazier Wong. “Now we move into exams next week and look to finish out the semester on a high academic note before being able to turn our attention to the ACC Championships in two weeks. We know that these Tigers have been working hard in the classroom, and we’re all rooting for them to win their final exams.”
