Clemson, S.C. – Clemson travels to Mesa, Ariz., this weekend to defend its 2022 team title at the Clover Cup, held at the par-72, 6,184-yard Longbow Golf Club. Last year, the Tigers won the team title, finishing at -18 ahead of 17 teams (eight ranked opponents) and securing the program’s first outright 54-hole tournament win and the third overall tournament win in school history.
Fourteen teams will compete for the championship, with three ACC teams in the field. Tournament-host Notre Dame welcomes Cincinnati, Colorado State, FIU, Georgia, Indiana, Louisville, Mercer, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Chattanooga, and Northern Illinois to this edition of the tournament.
The 54-hole, three-day tournament’s tee times will begin daily at 8:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. eastern) for rounds one and two. Round three will be a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. eastern). Holes will be determined based on the result standings from rounds one and two.
Clemson will be led by Savannah Grewal, followed by Chloe Holder, Annabelle Pancake, and 2022 Clover Cup top-10 finisher Katherine Schuster. Melena Barrientos rounds out the Tiger lineup and Isabella Rawl will play as an individual.
