The past week saw 10 #ClemsonUnited alumni play professionally between the MLS and USL leagues.
Tommy McNamara (‘13) played 75 minutes for the Houston Dynamo as they squared off against the Seattle Sounders this past Saturday night.
Diego Campos (‘17) was in action twice this past week, first against Cruz Azul, playing a full 90 minutes for his side. On Saturday night, Campos came on as a substitute for the Chicago Fire in the 76th minute. While on the field in the weekend match, Campos served two corner kicks.
Amadou Dia (‘14) played a full 90 minutes for his red-hot Phoenix Rising FC side, helping his team to their eighth shut-out win of the season, along with their eleventh straight win. Phoenix Rising FC currently sits atop the USL standings.
Phanuel Kavita (‘14) logged his 19th start of the season, keeping his streak of starting each match alive for the season. Saint Louis FC would go on to win in convincing fashion, with Kavita contributing defensively to a 3-0 victory.
Kyle Fisher (‘15) earned the start along the backline for Birmingham Legion FC as they had a Saturday night contest. Fisher helped preserve a shut-out victory for his side, logging a full 90 minutes on the field.
Kyle Murphy (‘15) wore the captain’s armband at the start of the match for his Loudoun United FC side, logging 69 minutes and recording two shots on goal.
Jack Metcalf (‘13) wore the captain’s armband once again, starting the match and played 94 minutes of the 95-minute match. Metcalf recorded one shot on goal.
Cody Mizell (‘12) earned his 20th start of the season in goal for New Mexico United on Wednesday night. Mizell would go on to record two saves in the contest.
Patrick Bunk-Andersen (‘18) earned the start for his Toronto FC II side, playing a full game along the backline. Paul Clowes (‘15) earned the start and went on to play 78 minutes in the midfield role.
