Tigers Hold 8th Position In National Ranking

Clemson, S.C. – For the fifth straight week, the Clemson women’s soccer team (11-4-0) has been ranked as the No. 8 team in the country according to the United Soccer Coaches weekly poll. The Tigers are one of five Atlantic Coast Conference teams to be represented in the top-25, four of which rank among the top-10 as Florida State and North Carolina hold the top two spots.

This season, the Tigers have held a ranking in every weekly poll that has been offered, reaching as high as No. 3 in the fall. This spring, Clemson has remained undefeated while tallying five straight wins while finishing off their home slate with the first perfect home record in program history, going 7-0-0 at Historic Riggs Field in 2020-21.

This week, the Clemson squad, led by 10th year Head Coach Eddie Radwanski, gets set for its first ranked match-up since the fall season as they close out its regular season with a road match against in-state rival No. 11 South Carolina (10-3-0). The match is set to kickoff from Stone Stadium in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday, April 10 at 6 p.m. with coverage on SEC Network+.
