Clemson, S.C. – The Tigers men’s tennis squad is headed to Athens, Ga. to compete the Southern Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by the University of Georgia over the weekend.  Four Tigers will make their season debut at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex including, Gabriel Diaz Freire, Matteo Vialmin, Teodor Giusca and Yizhou Liu.

In total, 64 participants will compete in the tournament including athletes from ACC foes Georgia Tech, Miami and Wake Forest. University of Central Florida, Texas, Tulane, Georgia, Louisiana State University, Florida, Harvard and Illinois will also have competitors in attendance.

Tournament play is set to start in Athens on Friday at 8:30 am and will conclude on Sunday afternoon.
