Tigers Head to No. 9 Virginia

Clemson, S.C. — The Clemson women’s tennis team is set to kick of its four-match road stretch when it heads to Charlottesville, Va. to take on the No. 9 Viginia Hoos on Sunday at noon. The Tigers are coming off a weekend in which they went 2-1 overall and 1-1 to open ACC action. Last Friday, Clemson traveled to Blacksburg, Va. where it defeated Virginia Tech, 4-3. The Tigers then hosted Wake forest and Western Carolina and lost 7-0 and won 7-0, respectively.

On Tuesday, the Tigers were ranked No. 37 by the ITA. Clemson finished last season ranked No. 68 after being unranked all season. It marked the first time since 2018 that the Tigers were ranked within the top-50.
