Tigers Finish up at ITA-All American Championships

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Clemson’s Eleni Louka and Jenna Thompson wrapped up their competition at the ITA All-American Championships. Overall, the No. 29 doubles pair went 1-2, defeating Louisville’s No.16 Verma/Di Palma.

Louka and Thompson project to be the Tigers No. 1 doubles pair this season. The two went 6-8 last year, but sported a 2-2 record against ranked opponents including a victory over the No. 2 ranked pair in the nation.

The rest of the Tigers are currently in Charlotte, N.C. for the 49er invite, where they will be play three rounds of doubles today, as well as compete on Saturday and Sunday. Louka and Thompson will re-join the team for the ITA Regionals at Wake Forest from Oct. 22-26.
