Tigers Finish Fourth at Clemson Invitational

Sunset, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf finished the weekend at even par, good for a fourth-place finish in the 2024 Clemson Invitational. Vanderbilt led from start to finish to capture the tournament crown. 

Individually, the Tigers were led by Annabelle Pancake, who finished the tournament tied for 16th at even par. Chloe Holder and Isabella Rawl each finished at +1 and tied for 19th, while Sydney Roberts finished at +4 (T38). Katherine Schuster and Melena Barrientos each finished T40 (+5), while Ivy Schulze finished her first Clemson Invitational at +28. 

In the team competition, Vanderbilt finished the weekend at -12 to win the crown. Texas A&M and LSU surged on the final day to finished second and third, respectively, at -6 and -3. The Tigers finished fourth at even, while Michigan State rounded out the top five at +4. 

LSU’s Ingrid Lindblad, the No. 1 ranked amateur women’s golfer in the world, won the tournament, finishing at -18, blasting the former tournament record by eight shots. Texas A&M’s Adela Cernousek finished second at -8, while Furman’s Anna Morgan came in third at -7. 

The Tigers now have a break in competition and return to the course on April 18 for the 2024 ACC Championships, held in Wilmington, N.C.
