BOB POLLOCK RESULTS | BU JOHN THOMAS TERRIER CLASSIC RESULTS

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson track & field program delivered a standout weekend across two meets, posting three new school records, seven additional all‑time top‑10 marks, and 18 personal bests between the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic and the Bob Pollock Invitational.

In Boston, Gladys Chepngetich and Nancy Cherop each secured school records for the Tigers. Chepngetich placed third in the women’s 800m invite in 1:58.81, breaking both the Clemson and ACC records while climbing to No. 2 on the NCAA all‑time list. Cherop followed with a school record of her own, finishing sixth in the women’s 3000m in 8:51.10, shattering the previous program mark by 24 seconds. In the men’s 800m invite, Brian Kweyei ran 1:46.02 to set another Clemson record, the second‑fastest 800m time in ACC history (and the fastest since 1989), and moves into a tie for No. 17 on the NCAA all‑time list.

At the Bob Pollock Invitational, six Tigers added all‑time top‑10 performances. Aiya Webb jumped 6.26m (20′ 6.50″) to move to No. 7 in program history, while Matthew Auble strengthened his No. 2 standing in the weight throw with a PR of 21.54m (70′ 8″).
