Tigers Announce 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball program announced the team’s 2024-25 non-conference schedule on Friday morning.

Women’s basketball season tickets are available through the Clemson ticket office and can be purchased here.

Of the non-conference schedule, the Emerald Coast Classic, in which Clemson will play UAB and either Alabama or Alabama State in Destin, Fla. over November 25-26, has already been announced. Florida, the Tigers’ opponent for the SEC/ACC Challenge, has previously been announced as well.

With first-year head coach Shawn Poppie at the helm, the Tigers host seven non-conference home games in Littlejohn Coliseum this season. Clemson tips off its season in Littlejohn Coliseum on November 4 against Jackson State, after which the Tigers will square off against NC Central on November 7. The following week CU will take on Presbyterian on November 11, followed by CU’s annual rivalry game against South Carolina on November 20 in Clemson.

After the Tigers return from Destin, Clemson will be back in Littlejohn Coliseum for a game against Kennesaw State on December 1 prior to hosting the Florida Gators on December 5. Clemson will host Radford on Sunday, December 8 before taking off for the West Palm Beach Classic on the east coast of Florida on December 20-21. Opponents for the West Palm Beach Classic are yet to be named.

Dates for ACC games are yet to be announced, but the Tigers will play Georgia Tech in Clemson and Atlanta. Clemson will host ACC newcomers Cal and Stanford, in addition to holding games against Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. CU will be making its first-ever ACC trip to Dallas to take on SMU and will make road trips to Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Louisville, NC State, Pitt, and Wake Forest.

Poppie, who joins Clemson after tallying a 48-18 record with two SoCon championships in as many seasons at Chattanooga, brings a renewed energy to the Tiger program. Following his appointment as Clemson’s head coach, Poppie promptly cleaned up in the transfer portal by welcoming 12 incoming transfer student-athletes.
