CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson women’s soccer officially announced the addition of transfer goalkeeper Nona Reason from the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. A redshirt in 2022, Reason brings three seasons of eligibility to the Tigers.
Reason’s resume includes many US Youth National Team call ups, most recently with the U20’s in February of 2023. The keeper received her first U20 call up in 2021. A member of the U16 National Team in 2020, Reason also helped the United States capture the U15 CONCACAF Championship in 2018.
Prior to college, she received the Golden Glove award as the best goalkeeper during the 2019 Development Academy playoffs for San Diego Surf. She also earned ENCL All-Ohio Valley Conference honors while playing for the Indiana Fire Juniors during the 2020-21 campaign. Finally, Reason led Noblesville High School to back-to-back IHSAA 3A titles, recording shutouts in both championship games.
The Tigers open their 2024 spring season on March 2 against Georgia Southern at Historic Riggs Field.
