Clemson’s Homecoming celebration, Tigerama, takes place on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. (postponed from its original date of Sept. 27 due to forecasted inclement weather) at Memorial Stadium. This event has grown immensely from where it started 67 years ago, when a famous alum, Joe Sherman, brought this idea to Clemson in hopes of creating a uniting event full of spirit at the end of Homecoming week. Tigerama has grown to feature student groups, entertainment segments, philanthropic efforts, fireworks and a concert every year on the Friday night of Homecoming week.
This year, Tigerama features its traditional events and new ones. Just as in previous years, the audience can expect the crowning of the 2024 Miss Homecoming Queen, fireworks, appearances from the Rally Cats, Tiger Band, the football team, student a cappella groups, IFC skits and much more. The show also includes a concert by world-famous music group X Ambassadors. On the day of Tigerama, there is a block party on Avenue of Champions adjacent to Littlejohn Coliseum from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with food vendors, DJ Sha, bouncy houses, yard games, student-athlete appearances and more.
Tigerama is not only a catalyst for school spirit, it is also a source of essential scholarship support. Since its founding in 1957, Tigerama proceeds have provided the top student from each academic major a Tigerama scholarship, which recognizes excellence in the classroom and leadership in the community.
This year’s theme is “110%.” The theme celebrates Clemson’s 110th anniversary of Homecoming traditions and our commitment to exceed every limit. In every aspect of our lives, we strive for greatness, embracing the spirit of the tiger and giving nothing less than 110%. We don’t just love Clemson, we love it 110%, and just when you feel like you have reached maximum capacity on your love, you discover something else that makes you love it even more.
Beyond the boundaries of our campus, we recognize that our Clemson experience shapes us into individuals committed to making a difference in the world. We are limitless in our efforts to build meaningful relationships, make positive and impactful discoveries, inspire creativity and resourcefulness and encourage others to give their best as we work together to exceed every limit.
To experience how the university gives “110%,” join us in celebrating one of the most-special traditions that Clemson has to offer during this year’s Homecoming week. Tigerama is an opportunity for Clemson students to share in the fun of Homecoming, for alumni to return to the traditions of their alma mater and for Tiger fans of all ages to experience the magnitude of the Clemson Family.
