Quarterback Patrick Sapp capped a wild final two minutes with a touchdown pass to Terry Smith as Clemson defeated Kentucky 14-13 in the 1993 Peach Bowl. Tommy West became the first coach in NCAA history to win his first game for a school in a bowl game without serving as an assistant coach in that program during the regular season.
