It was a historic night on many fronts as Clemson defeated Florida State 26-10 in Bowden Bowl V. The Tigers earned the highest ranked victory in school history while the Seminoles lost a game by more than 15 points for just the sixth time since 1989. Derrick Hamilton also became the school’s all-time leader in all-purpose yards and turned in the play of the night on this 58-yard touchdown pass from Charlie Whitehurst.
