CLEMSON, S.C. –Several Clemson swimmers rank among the ACC leaders, including freshman Cami Sink, who has the fastest time in the league this season in the 400 IM (4:15.33). Her time is the fourth-best in the nation. Sink ranks second in the ACC and ninth nationally in the 200 IM(2:01.05) and is fourth in the league in the 200 breast (2:17.89). Freshman Katie Mizell leads the conference in the 200 fly (2:02.45) and ranks second in the 100 fly (55.99).
Senior Wendy Henson leads the league and is ranked fourteenth nationally in the 500 free with a time of 4:49.28. She ranks twenty-fifth nationally and is second in the conference in the 200 free (1:49.35) and ranks sixth in the ACC in the 100 free with a time of 51.47. Junior Jennifer Mihalik ranks first in the ACC and eleventh nationally in the 200 back (1:59.31) and third in the ACC in the 100 back (56.72). She is third in the 50 free (23.43) and third in the 100 free, having recorded a time of 50.92. Senior Kathy Lowry is second in the 50 free (23.35), third in the 100 fly (56.01) and fourth in the 100 free (51.09).
Senior Amy Suppinger ranks fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 56.03 and is seventh in the 200 breast (2:20.40). Senior Lisa Bartlett ranks fifth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:06.15 and is sixth in the 400 IM (4:25.05). Freshman Emily Hustead is seventh in the 500 free (4:57.73), ninth in the 1000 free (10:16.14) and ninth in the 200 fly (2:04.43). Sophomore Lauren Rafferty ranks fifth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.17.
In the diving events, freshman Micheala Smith ranks tenth with a score of 346.85 on the 1-meter board and ninth with a score of 389.60 on the 3-meter board.
The Clemson women’s team, ranked 21st nationally, has the fastest time in the conference in the 400 free relay (3:23.75) and ranks second in the 200 free relay (1:33.72).
The Clemson men’s team has the third-fastest time in the ACC for the 200 free relay (1:22.45). Freshman Tim Collis ranks fourth in the 100 back (50.16), seventh in the 100 fly (50.26), seventh in the 200 back (1:50.10) and is tied with Clemson’s Mike Pridemore for tenth in the 50 free (20.93).
Alex Ioanovici is second with a time of 45.08 in the 100 free and ranks fifth in the 50 free (20.55) Freshman Kenny Roberts is tenth in the 100 free with a time of 45.77.
Freshman Shawn Wallace ranks fourth in the 200 breast (2:03.54) and is seventh in the 100 breast with a time of 56.79. Junior Adam Porter has the fifth-fastest time in the 100 back, having recorded a time of 50.77, and is tenth in the 200 back (1:52.14).
Sophomore Andrew Gessert ranks tenth in the 100 butterfly (50.79), and freshman Matt Wilson is tenth in the 200 IM (1:53.04). Senior Will York has a time of 1:51.16 in the 200 back, ranking ninth, and junior Adam Porter ranks tenth in the same event (1:52.14).
