Three Tigers Named All-American

December 4, 1998

CLEMSON, SC–Three Clemson women’s soccer players, Sara Burkett, Sheri Bueter, and Beth Keller were named All-American by ESPN-Soccer Times.Com as announced Friday.

Burkett was named to the first team, while Keller and Bueter was named honarable mention All-American.

Burkett led the 1998 team in scoring with 42 points. She also led the squad with 16 goals and was second on the team in assists with 10.

Keller was second on the team in scoring with 33 points. She was also second on the squad with 14 goals.

Bueter had five goals and a team-leading 12 assists this season.

The Clemson women’s soccer team advanced to the NCAA’s Final 16 this season and finished the year with a 16-7 record overall.
