The Clemson women’s golf team returns to the course after a two week hiatus as they are set to participate in White Sands Invitational in Nassau, Bahamas. The 54-hole tournament will span from October 28-30 on the par-72 6,415 yard Ocean Club Golf Course.
The Tigers will have a well-rounded field of competition, with 10 of the 15 participating teams holding national rankings as of October 22. Most notably, #3 Texas, #17 Arkansas, #21 Mississippi State, #24 Houston and #25 Ohio State will be those among the field holding top-25 recognition.
Clemson is coming off a 12th place finish at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational which saw Ivy Shepherd finishing in a tie for 13th. However, the Tigers will add Gracyn Burgess to the lineup for this week’s action where she will see her first tournament rounds of the season. In addition to Shepherd and Burgess, Clemson is traveling Savannah Grewal, Ana Paula Valdes and Alexandra Swayne.
