Clemson, S.C. — Clemson gymnastics head coach Amy Smith has announced Team Two’s schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, including five home meets inside Littlejohn Coliseum.
In last year’s inaugural season, the Tigers sold out four of the five home meets, finished second at the ACC Championship and earned a spot in the NCAA Regionals. Lilly Lippeatt was named the ACC Newcomer of the Year and Smith earned ACC Coach of the Year honors.
Fans will get their first look at the team on December 6, as the Tigers host the second iteration of its annual intrasquad event, Gymnastics 102, free of charge.
Clemson opens the season in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as the team was selected to compete in ESPN Events’ owned-and-operated gymnastics invitational, the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. The opening session on Friday, Jan. 10 features No. 19 Michigan, ACC-Champion NC State, Arizona and Clemson on ACC Network, with live or tape delay designation determined in early January once College Football Playoff Semifinalists are confirmed. The meet will be carried live in its entirety on the ESPN App.
The Tigers continue the early-season road swing on January 17, traveling to Pitt for a 7:00 p.m. meet, before heading west to face new-ACC-member Cal on Sunday, January 26.
Clemson opens the home portion of the season on January 31 at 7:00 p.m. against Pitt, before hitting the road again for a February 9 meet at North Carolina, to be shown on ACC Network.
The Tigers then return to Littlejohn Coliseum for three-straight home meets, starting against NC State on February 14 at 7:00 p.m. Clemson then welcomes another new ACC member, Stanford, to LJC on February 23 at 4:00 p.m. on ACC Network, before hosting the program’s first-ever tri meet on February 28. New Hampshire and Texas Women’s are set to come to town for a 5:00 p.m .start.
Clemson then hits the road for one final time, heading to the nation’s capital for a tri-meet with GWU and Penn State. The Nittany Lions and Tigers will meet two weeks in a row, as the teams will compete in Clemson for the Tigers’ last home meet of the year on March 14 at 8:00 p.m.
Clemson is set to begin postseason competition on Saturday, March 23 with the ACC Championships. For the second-consecutive season, ACCs will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., but with the additions to the conference, a new format will be utilized. All six teams will qualify, with seeds five and six competing in the day’s first session and seeds 1-4 competing in the second.
NCAA Regionals are scheduled for April 2-6 at various locations and the NCAA Championship is set for April 17-19 in Fort Worth, Texas.
