Clemson, S.C. – Senior forward Ousmane Sylla was named to the ACC Preseason Watch List, it was announced on Wednesday by the league office. Also, in voting conducted by the league’s head coaches, Clemson United has been tabbed as both the overall champion and the Atlantic Division champion.
Sylla returns to the Tigers following a Second Team All-South Region selection in 2022, as well as a Second Team All-ACC nod. The Dakar, Senegal, native was the leading scorer on the 2023 team, while also leading the team in assists.
Along with Sylla, the Tigers return 2022 All-ACC performers Mohamed Seye and Joseph Andema to the 2023 roster. Clemson also returns 16 others from the 2022 squad, as well as eight players from the 2021 National Championship team.
The ninth-ranked Tigers open the season on August 24, welcoming UCF to Historic Riggs Field for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
