Offensive Analyst

Mike Miller returned for his second stint at Clemson and his first as an offensive analyst with the Tigers in 2026.

Prior to his return, Miller most recently served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Charlotte from 2023-25. Beforehand, he spent four seasons at Maryland from 2019-22, when he coached tight ends and added passing game coordinator duties in 2021 and added co-offensive coordinator responsibilities in 2022. During his tenure, he helped develop one of the program’s most productive offenses, highlighted by a record-setting 2021 season in which Maryland set school records for total offense, passing yards, completions and completion percentage behind quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa.

From 2017-18, Miller spent two seasons as an offensive graduate assistant at Alabama, assisting quarterbacks and wide receivers unit that set multiple school records, qualified for two College Football Playoff National Championship Games and earned one national title. He assisted a wide receiver corps that included NFL first-round picks Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith, Henry Ruggs III and Jaylen Waddle.

He began his coaching career in 2016 as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Charlotte (N.C.) Christian High School in 2016 following stints as a student assistant at UAB in 2014 and Clemson in 2015. At Clemson, he assisted the 2015 Tiger team that won the ACC Championship and went 14-1 with a berth in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

A native of Irmo, S.C., Miller earned his degree in communications from UAB in 2015. He and his wife, Megan, have four children: Bo, Grisham, Mary and Louie.
