Kendall Thompson is in her fourth season on Clemson’s support staff and serves as Clemson’s Director of Football Programming & NIL Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities include educating student-athletes on NIL resources and best practices, mentoring student-athletes in all aspects of NIL, staying informed on the current NIL landscape along and facilitating NIL agreement efforts for football student-athletes.
Thompson joined the program as Coordinator of Football Programming in 2023, assisting primarily in the areas of freshman transition, football academics and former player engagement. Prior to returning to her alma mater, she served as an educator in Charleston and Greenville counties.
Thompson (neé Mercer) earned her degree in education from Clemson in 2019 and added her master’s degree in education in 2020. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in educational leadership in higher education alongside her athletic leadership certification.
She married her husband, Dylan, in 2025.
