Jaxon Stewart returned to Clemson as a football strength and conditioning assistant in the summer of 2026.
Stewart began his career as a student assistant in Clemson's strength and conditioning program under the guidance of legendary strength coach Joey Batson from 2019-21. In 2022, he served as a graduate assistant at Oklahoma before being named as Director of Football Strength and Conditioning at Anderson University in 2023.
Stewart was a two-sport athlete at Maryville College in both football and baseball from 2017-19. Between his time at Maryville and Clemson, Stewart created a small business that focused on improving the athletic performance of youth athletes, including position training for both baseball and football.
A native of Corbin, Ky., Stewart is married to his wife, Mallory. He earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Clemson in May 2022, and he is an NSCA Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS) and is a member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa SCCC).
