Eric Sabin

Eric Sabin is in his third year on the Clemson Athletics staff as the Senior Associate AD of Facilities Management and Capital Projects after coming to Clemson in July 2019. Sabin most recently served as the Senior Associate AD for Finance at the University of Memphis, and has been involved in finance, operations and facility management for almost two decades.

Sabin oversees all aspects of capital projects and facilities, from planning to construction of new facilities, renovations, and maintenance. Since his time at Clemson, he has overseen the completion of the McWhorter Softball Stadium, IPTAY and Ticket Center, Soccer Operations Facility. Presently, Clemson has renovations at Memorial Stadium, Reeves Football Complex, and Poe Indoor Facility scheduled to be completed this summer.

At Memphis Sabin oversaw all fiscal planning, facilities and contracts as well as various finance roles over the course of six years. He managed more than $50 million in capital projects, from design to completion, including a $20 million football facility and a $21 million basketball training facility.

Prior to Memphis, Sabin served at San Jose State for four years as an equipment manager and a business operations analyst. Sabin earned his B.S. in finance from Florida State in 2007, and an M.S. in sports commerce from Memphis in 2012. He’s currently pursuing his Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at Clemson University.

Sabin and his wife, Diana, have two daughters, Remi and Cora.
