Ellis Johnson

llis joined the IPTAY staff in September of 2021 and focuses on the oversight and growth of the IPTAY REP program. Prior to joining the IPTAY team, Ellis worked with the Clemson University Relations office as the Director of Experience Clemson, managing the brand center in downtown Greenville.

Ellis is a 2018 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. While in school, she worked with the City of Greenville, Euphoria Food, Wine, and Music Festival, and VisitGreenvilleSC. She was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority, served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Clemson Panhellenic Council, and was a Clemson Student Government Transfer Council member. Ellis is currently pursuing her MBA in the Clemson MBA program.

Ellis is married to her husband, Mitch (’18, M’21), who is a financial analyst at Lockheed Martin. Ellis and Mitch currently reside in Greenville with their dog, Jack.
