Brooke Robbins

Position: Director of Communications - IPTAY

Robbins joined the IPTAY team as Director of Communications in May of 2023. In her role, she leads all external communications and media relations strategies, conveying the “One-IPTAY” mission to current and prospective donors through traditional and new media. Robbins also has oversight of the IPTAY branding efforts and serves as lead editor of ORANGE: The Experience magazine, which is distributed to IPTAY members six times per year. In addition, she leads a communications team charged with creating IPTAY-related content, donor spotlights, internal materials, program features, and staff columns.

Prior to Clemson, Robbins she served as the Associate Director of Revenue Strategy after a successful stint as the Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives with Purdue Athletics. Her responsibilities encompassed coordinating all revenue-generating communication, including but not limited to; ticket sales, capital projects, business initiatives, fundraising, multimedia rights, and other key department priorities. She also managed marketing and communication efforts for the John Purdue Club, overseeing email distribution, mail, website, social media, digital advertising, crowdfunding campaigns, media distribution, and gift proposals.

Before Purdue, Robbins was the Advancement Officer for Direct Marketing (Athletics) at Marquette University. She was responsible for aligning strategy across multiple entities, including athletics communications and marketing, university communications, and the annual giving program. She also spent time as Graduate Assistant for the Cardinal Varsity Club and Leadership Annual Giving Coordinator within the Ball State University Foundation.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Brooke is a graduate of Otterbein University (Westerville, OH), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management. She earned her master’s degree in sport administration from Ball State University in 2016.
