Anthony Lazard enters his first season at Clemson in 2026 as Senior Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Lazard arrived at Clemson after serving as Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance and Applied Sport Science Coordinator at Stanford from 2023-25. Prior to his time at Stanford, he spent the 2021-22 seasons as Auburn’s Assistant Director of Football Strength and Conditioning, in which he worked with multiple position groups and led the implementation of its Catapult tracking system. He also served as Assistant Director of Sports Performance at Boise State in 2020, overseeing training data and performance metrics for several position groups.
Lazard’s earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at Appalachian State from 2019-20, Assistant Strength and Nutrition Coach at Upper Iowa from 2018-19 and Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Central Methodist in 2018.
A former student-athlete at Iowa State, Lazard was a five-year member of the football program from 2012-16. He earned his degree in exercise science in 2016 and is NSCA-CSCS certified.
A native of Urbandale, Iowa, Lazard is married to the former Lindsey Hunt.
