Christina Esposito enters her third season at with Clemson in 2027, coaching the offense and draw and helping the Tigers to back-to-back NCAA Sweet 16s and ACC semifinal berth in 2025 and 2026. Clemson finished third in the ACC in 2026 and ranked second in the nation in points per game and second in the nation in assists per game. The Tigers led the nation in shooting percentage.
Under Esposito, Alexa Spallina, the former No. 1 recruit, ranked second in the nation and led the ACC in assists and fifth in the nation and second in the ACC in points.
Clemson finished 14-7, tied for fourth in the nation’s best conference, the ACC, and were ranked as high as No. 6 in the nation. Clemson posted four top-14 ranked wins, including top-10 victories over No. 5 Syracuse and No. 9 Duke.
Esposito coaches the offense and draw units for the Tigers. She coached All-American midfielder Natalie Shurtleff and mentored freshman Kira Balis to an outstanding freshmen year on the draw.
During the 2024 season with the Florida Gators, Esposito played a pivotal role in Florida’s outstanding campaign, where the Gators advanced to the NCAA semifinals with a 20-3 record. Under her guidance, Florida’s offense was one of the most prolific in the nation, scoring 405 goals (17.61 per game). Additionally, she coached a draw control unit that ranked among the top ten nationally, showcasing her ability to effectively develop offensive and midfield strategies.
Before her successful stint at Florida, Esposito served as an assistant coach at Stony Brook, leading the Seawolves to a 15-4 record and an impeccable 7-0 run in the CAA in 2023. Her coaching career also includes being the Director and Head Coach of the Long Island Girls United Lacrosse Club and the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at St. Dominic High School, where she guided the team to its first-ever New York State Championship. Additionally, Esposito served as the Head Coach of the Long Island Jesters 2026 Team, which ranked among the top five club teams in the country during her tenure.
A native of West Babylon, New York, Esposito’s collegiate career was equally impressive. She was a five-year letter winner for the Northwestern Wildcats, earning IWLCA Second Team All-West/Midwest Region selection, and was a member of the All-Big Ten Team and the Big Ten All-Tournament Team in her final season.

Esposito earned her Master’s of Sport Administration in 2017 and Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Northwestern University.
