Before Clemson:

New joins former Davidson teammate Emma Johnson as transfers to Clemson. Both former wildcats were All-A10 second team players. New played 54 and started in 42 games for Davidson, securing a whopping 115 goals and 28 assists in her four seasons. As a captain, New was second in the A10 in goals (47) and fifth in points per game (3.50)

2022:

  • Ended her career with an Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team nod and was named the league’s Player of the Week on 4/11 after a 12-goal, one-assist weekend for the Wildcats
  • Scored her 100th career goal on 4/10 with a seven-goal effort in an 18-5 victory over St. Bonaventure
  • The seven-goal game also matched her career-high and was the season-high for the ‘Cats
  • Finished the season with 158 career draw controls, good for third most all-time in program history
  • Had 12 multi-goal games and had seven performances with four goals or more
  • Led Davidson with 49 goals on the season and closed out her tenure with 115 goals, 28 assists and 143 points
  • Captained the squad for the 2022 season which saw the Wildcats set a new program record for most wins in a single season (13), while leading the ‘Cats to a return appearance at the Atlantic 10 semifinals.

2021:

  • Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on 2/16
  • Had five multi-game goals
  • Recorded a career-high, team season-high seven goals against George Washington
  • Was second on the team with 60 draw controls
  • Tallied two points, one goal and one assist, in a win over No. 16 Virginia Tech against 3/17
  • Had two outings with 10+ draw controls, including a season-high 12 in a win against Furman on 2/14.

2020:

  • Season cut short due to COVID-19
  • Started and appeared in all six games
  • Was second on the team with nine goals.
  • Recorded a hat trick against Furman on 2/22
  • Recorded a season-high four points, off two goals and two assists, during a 22-9 victory over Old Dominion on 3/4
  • Led the team with 27 draw controls
  • Ranked among the top 10 in the A-10 with her 27 draws.

2019

  • Enjoyed a stellar freshman season, capping off by earning A-10 All-Rookie Team
  • Finished right behind freshman Braeden Dial with 28 goals and added nine assists for 37 points in 15 games played with three starts
  • Recorded 10 games of two or more goals, including five hat tricks on the season
  • Twice had five points in a game against Old Dominion and VCU
  • Took 56 shots and put 40 of them on goal
  • Had a season-high nine shots vs. Old Dominion
  • Scored in every game but two of the 15 played
  • Went 3-for-6 on free-position shots
  • Credited with two game-winning goals to open the season at Winthrop and home vs. Furman
  • Had nine ground balls, three caused turnovers and 27 draw controls
  • Scooped up a season-best nine draw controls vs. ODU
  • Had 19 draw controls in a four-game span
  • Six times registered at least two or more draw controls in a game
