2021 Outdoor Season
- At the Torrin Lawrence Memorial (April 30 – May 1), Garringer ran 14:48.27 to finish third overall in the 5,000 meters.
- This was Garringer’s first time going sub-15 minutes and serves as his personal best.
- Contested the 5k during the ACC Outdoor Championships (May 13-15), running 15:24.08.
- Made his outdoor debut for Clemson by racing the 10,000 meters at the Raleigh Relays (March 25-26).
- At the Raleigh Relays, Garringer ran 32:41.84 during his debut at the distance.
- Set a personal best at 5,000m during the Tennessee Relays (April 9), running 15:21.28
2021 Indoor Season
- Made his debut on the track for Clemson by contesting the 3,000 meters at the Orange & Purple Elite (Jan. 9).
- At the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25-27), Garringer ran 15:39.65 in the opening section of the 5,000m.
- Contested the 3,000m for the first time in his career at the Orange & Purple Elite, running 8:58.13 to finish third.
- During the Tiger Paw Invite (Feb. 12-13), Garringer set a personal best for 3,000m by running 8:43.32.
- Also at Tiger Paw, Garringer set a personal best in the mile, running 4:22.42.
- Ran 8:52.58 at the Hokie Invitational (Jan. 22-23) for 3,000m.
- Made his debut at 5k during the Bob Pollock Invitational (Jan. 29-30), running 15:29.40.
